Removing Barriers Girls Face with Education

Here are some facts that will blow your mind away:

  • If 10% more girls received an education, GDP can increase by an average of 3%.
  • Every year a girl spends in school; her income can increase by 15%.
  • An educated girl can contribute up to 18% to her household income.
  • 39,000 underage girls are forced to marry ‘every day’!
These are compelling facts indeed but there are countless barriers that a girl must overcome in order for her to be able to makes the numbers a reality. Let us take a closer look at what those barriers are.

Girls are not sent to school or drop out early

Girl’s education is not a priority. More than 60% of all girls all over the world are not in school for one reason or other but no reason is as pressing as the lack of money. Girls Education Charity can help overcome that problem but there are very few donors and even though more money from charitable organizations can help the cause, there is a serious lack of funds. Charitable organizations worldwide are pressing for more money and work is on to raise awareness levels among people to donate more freely to the cause. Join in with your contributions if you have not already.

Child Marriage

Another shocking fact that will surely prop your eyes open is the number of underage girls that are married off every year. 14 million girls (that is 39,000 girls per day) are married off each day. For the lack of better education they have no means to contribute to the family’s income, which means if they received education and had a source of income, girls could contribute to the income and improve living conditions of their families – one more reason to contribute with Girls Education Charity.

Muslim Charity – Forming the Core of Islam

Among different types of charities around the world Muslim Charity has been considered as the most respected one. In the holy book of Quran, there have been infinite times; charity has been mentioned stating its importance and value to humanity. In fact, it is the most sacred and respectable way to seek Allah and his blessings. Being a true Muslim, one should help the needy, orphans, deprived, women, and travelers with a good purpose in mind.

Another thing not to forget is that one shouldn’t feel privileged while donating money through charity. This is because it is a normal part of anyone’s life that has been conferred over him by Allah. A true Muslim should always keep in mind that the wealth he acquired over a period of time actually belongs to Allah and it should be spend towards the betterment of people in any form. So, whether it is charity for girl’s education, or for orphans, or for victims of natural calamities, you should always be ready with your contribution. The only thing one should keep in mind that the money you choose to give go in the right hands, and should not be used in wrong deeds.

There are lots of charitable organizations in UK that accept Muslim charity and use it for numerous activities centered towards people.

Gift your kid a world-class level of comprehensive Islamic education

Though schools are of great importance all over the world, but when they are managed with a holy aim of helping the needy people, their importance become double. The same is the case with Islamic secondary school which is primarily managed to help the underprivileged Muslim children who’re not able to get required education in the society.

These Islamic Secondary Schools provide a scholastic atmosphere where Muslim children stay on education and can remain disconnected from the outside world of boys, drugs, alcohol and non-Islamic peer stress. As their name indicates, these schools spread the message of peace among humans by providing academic education based on Islamic principles. This means that a Muslim school would emphasis on Islamic customs and leaves while private secular schools typically follow customarily Christian holidays, like Easter and Christmas, by default.

The primary objective of an Islamic secondary school is to endorse Islam as a medium of life. Here people can put an emphasis on Islamic history, doctrine and Arabic literature's and poetry. Devoted histories of the Prophet Muhammad and the history of the belief are used to nurture a love for Islam and a tough Muslim individuality. A large number of Islamic schools want pupils to learn stanzas from the Qur'an.

The scenario in girls boarding schools

The time your child enters the teenage phase of their life, will perhaps be the most challenging times for you as well as your child. This is the phase when children feel that they are all grown up and exert their independence. They try to stay away from their parents and get closer to their friends.

My trying times started when my girl entered her adolescence. For her, whatever their friends used to tell her was right and I was always wrong for her. For me the option of boarding schools came as a savior.

For busy parents like me who cannot devote much time to their children have the option of admitting their children in independent girls school or girls Islamic school or private schools.

These boarding schools provide an amicable, healthy, and stable environment for children to grow up and be self-confident to face any situation.

To decide which school is better is not easy task. Parents need to do a lot of research before getting their child admitted in the school. When children start studying in boarding schools, they get mature very fast. Those girls who study in independent schools get mature faster and are ready to shoulder responsibility from a tender age.
