You Can Make Someone Happy Today – Here Is How

You can make a poor person happy overnight, but you can definitely make their lives better at least momentarily. People who have to wait for several days for something good to happen in their lives to make them happy will appreciate your effort – though they may not show it. Know this – the poor has so much to suffer that a few acts of kindness will not make them suddenly ecstatic but deep inside in their hearts they will feel lighter and happier, so try these simple things out and see how you can make a difference to someone’s life today.

Donate old belongings

This is perhaps the commonest type of charity you can do make people happy. Find stuff that you don’t use anymore, stuff that can be used by someone who really needs them and pack them in boxes. Leave them at charitable organizations or in churches or you can even hand it over to the needy yourself. It’s hard to imagine that giving away unused articles can actually make people happy – but it does.

Imparting knowledge

Knowledge doesn’t cost anything at all, but the process of educating students does cost money. Thankfully, there are people who donate their hard earned money to help educators carry on their good work of helping kids from poor family attain education. Girls Education Charity is a good way of spending your money. Donating your money will not only make you feel good about yourself, it will also make students as well as their kids happy.

Re-Centering the Importance of Islam in Modern Muslims

Historians, anthropologists and educationists have long maintained that the need for education is fundamental to the growth and development of any individual be it a male or female. The importance of that cannot be overemphasized today when young Muslim children are pursuing their dreams of being more successful than their past generation.

Does religion differentiate men and women?

If one studies the Holy Scriptures attentively, they will observe that not even on one instance has anything being said about preventing women from their right to proper education, in fact The Quran and The Sunna does not distinguish between men or women on the issue of being admitted to a Muslim College. Moreover the Holy Prophet says that a tutor be appointed to educate women a day every week. Unfortunately, that has not been the case; blame it on whatever you will, but a majority of Muslim women in the last century were completely ignorant and knew nothing much of modern science or history. Today, things have changed. The world has come to realize that education is the key maker and changer of destiny and irrespective of gender; everyone is entitled to a good education in their life.

The new dawn of Islamic education in the life of modern Muslim women

Modern governments have recognized the need for education and efforts are being to redefine citizenry that is defined by a common culture and a national identity. This began several generations ago under the Ottoman regime where students got the best Islamic education at Islamic College. In stark contrast to how women were educated back in the past few decades when irrespective of their financial condition no girl was allowed to leave the premises of their homes for education. Today, truly  the emphasis is on how to prepare modern men and women in the ways of being a truly modern Muslim.

Sadaqh Jariyah – Spiritual Investment That Will Outlive You in This Life

Human life is as fragile as it always was. With the last breathe we take, all our deeds and good works stay behind. Nothing outlives us except our good deeds. The importance of charity in the life of a Muslim cannot be negated. Throughout history, Islam followers have been donating part of their income to charitable organizations and to the poor and needy. Charitable Islamic donation are good deeds that have the potential to make immortals out of mere mortals, at least in the memories of beneficiaries.

Charitable donations is a means of gaining barakah

Sadaqah Jariyah or what is also known as ongoing charity shows the path that leads to blessings. The blessings are not always in tangible forms. You probably will not see an immense bump in your wealth or strike a goldmine, but there will be a definite upside that you will experience sooner or later and that is what pious Muslims call barakah. Here is a list of things that you can do to begin on the path of Sadaqh Jariyah.
  • Donating for the construction of a mosque or raising fund to aid in the construction or repair of a mosque is considered the best form of Sadaqah Jariyah.
  • Sponsoring the construction of an orphanage to take care of orphans comes next on the list of things that you can do get the barakah of Allah SWT.
  • Helping out in the construction of a school. The help can either be monetary or physical. It is believed that every time children studying in the school you helped build, you will get hasanat even after death.
  • Help poor children with study materials, either academic or theological. It is said that if you donate a Quran, every recitation of the Holy Book brings blessing upon you.
  • Helping a child out in continuing his or her studies is also one of the best forms of Sadaqah Jariyah.
  • Every Muslim male who is capable of generating income should consider giving away a part of their income in charity, and it is widely believed that if a donation has to be made, it better be made to students aspiring to complete their studies.

The great role of Islamic School in societal development

We all know that we humans constitute a society which makes it imperative for all of us to make it sustainable. No matter which religion you belong to, you will always taught to constitute and live in a good society which forms the base of our development. Alike other religions, Islam also paves the way for societal and communal development and there is no point in denying the great role of an Islamic college/school in this world. For example, there are large numbers of Islamic girl’s school and Islamic college that they a pivotal and vibrant role in imparting education of children.

With more and more Muslim people contributing towards the up-scaling of their society, there has been an up rise in the level of education in Islamic colleges and school that are not setting exemplary standards in the field of education and development.

Muslims are willing to give their children education in only conventional schools and colleges, so that they can get their religious education apart from other disciples of education system. Thus, Muslim and non-governmental organizations play a vital role in filling up the space and providing the education. Towards this purpose, there are a number of schools and Muslim charities that provide educational teachings for the education of Muslim children in a wide range of fields and areas.

Gift your kid a world-class level of comprehensive Islamic education

Though schools are of great importance all over the world, but when they are managed with a holy aim of helping the needy people, their importance become double. The same is the case with Islamic secondary school which is primarily managed to help the underprivileged Muslim children who’re not able to get required education in the society.

These Islamic Secondary Schools provide a scholastic atmosphere where Muslim children stay on education and can remain disconnected from the outside world of boys, drugs, alcohol and non-Islamic peer stress. As their name indicates, these schools spread the message of peace among humans by providing academic education based on Islamic principles. This means that a Muslim school would emphasis on Islamic customs and leaves while private secular schools typically follow customarily Christian holidays, like Easter and Christmas, by default.

The primary objective of an Islamic secondary school is to endorse Islam as a medium of life. Here people can put an emphasis on Islamic history, doctrine and Arabic literature's and poetry. Devoted histories of the Prophet Muhammad and the history of the belief are used to nurture a love for Islam and a tough Muslim individuality. A large number of Islamic schools want pupils to learn stanzas from the Qur'an.

Boarding Schools Enhance Your Child’s Overall Development

When the time of admitting my daughter to a school came, I decided that boarding schools would be the best option for her.  I wanted to admit her in a school where she steers away from any kind of external influences and concentrate wholeheartedly on her studies.

I wanted her to get knowledge of our religion too which we hold in primary importance.  Islam is a way of life which we wanted to instill in our daughter right from the beginning.  Islamic schools for girls seemed to be the best option for her. This would be a place where she could attain the best education and religious teachings too.

Admitting her into secular schools was not an option right from the beginning due to the kind of teaching system they practiced. They follow a very modern outlook towards life, where they encourage girls and boys to interact with each other freely. I certainly was not very comfortable on that idea and decided to admit my daughter into one of the best Islamic boarding schools.

Jamea seemed to be the best option for me, as it’s more than just a school.  It’s a way of life; an Islamic way of life which the children live and instill in themselves right from the beginning.
