Learn about charity in the Muslim religion

Charity is something which either we stay away from or which we practice very religiously. Now we have to decide which path we take. We can either donate some part of our earnings for the poor and the downtrodden or keep all the money with us and just while it away in frivolous things.

Now you have to decide if you want to practice Sadaqah Jariyah or just keep all your earnings to yourselves. If you think that by keeping all the money to yourself you will be rich or you will get all the money to yourself, then you are wrong. That will never happen. Your money will always flow from your hands. Either you start saving to or put to some good use. Now think which route you will like to take.

There are a number of Muslims who take up the route to donate to those people who are not rich and who are poor. They must donate to people who are needy and who want that someone must help them to lead their life happily.

If you too can start donating then surely it will make a difference to the lives of those people who want it. Be a part of some charitable organization and donate a part of your earnings.

Learn Islamic values from an Islamic school

Imran my friend always focused on the importance of his religion and wanted his kids too to know about it. I being a Hindu did not really give importance to religion and believed to live a cool life. However it was my friend who always used to drive me that it is very important to know your religion to know your roots where you come from and where you belong to.

When the time of admission came closer I thought that we both will get our admission of our children in the same schools for the sake of friendship. Imran did not want to admit his child in a Christian or a public school. He was very clear from the beginning that he wanted his kid to be enrolled in an Islamic secondary school.

I was taken aback initially but soon I realized what a wonderful thought he has for his kid. He will be giving his child religious values and his child will learn about their religion from an Islamic school. He will always be in an environment that is in tandem with the religions they follow.

If you too are of the same point then you must too admit your kid to such a school that gives you Islamic values.
